Fanatics Casino Review: Is FanCash Better Than Loyalty Points?

Our verdict
FanCash is more useful than expiring loyalty points because it also buys merchandise and bonus bets, but the casino earn rate is small and reviewers disagree on it. The app is well rated yet limited to four states, with a smaller lobby and no published payout times. Best for existing Fanatics shoppers.
What works
- FanCash also works on merchandise and bonus bets
- Strong app ratings: about 4.8 on iOS, 4.6 on Android
- 24/7 live chat plus email and a help centre
- Deposits from $10 and withdrawals from $1 reported
- Existing balances and FanCash carry into the merged app
What does not
- Casino FanCash rate reported at 0.2% on slots, 0.05% on tables
- Only four states: Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia
- Library ranges from about 550 to 1,700 titles by state
- Withdrawal times are not published in the cashier summary
- Our capture of the casino site loaded blank, so we used listings
Casino loyalty points are usually a polite fiction: you earn a few thousand of them, they expire, and the redemption menu is a toaster. Fanatics tries something different. It pays in FanCash, a currency that also buys merchandise and bonus bets, and it is now folding the casino into a single sports app. We asked two things: is FanCash a better reward than ordinary points, and is the app mature enough to trust?
How we worked: we did not fund an account here. Fanatics's own casino site loaded as an empty page for our capture tool, so this review uses the App Store listing, the company's press release and a published review, and it says whenever a number is someone else's.
Where it operates and who can play
Reviewers list four states for real-money play: Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The App Store listing shows an 18+ age rating from the developer, FBG Enterprises Opco, LLC, but the legal age to gamble for real money in those four states is 21, so do not read the store rating as permission. You must also be physically inside one of the four states when you play.
FanCash against ordinary loyalty points
According to a casinos.com review, casino play earns FanCash at about 0.2% of the wager on slots and instant-win games and about 0.05% on table and live dealer games, and wagers placed with bonus credit earn nothing. One other summary says 1%, so the rate is disputed; the in-app terms decide.
Put the low figure in money. A player who wagers $1,000 on slots would earn about $2 in FanCash at 0.2%, and $0.50 on blackjack at 0.05%. That is small, and it is why the headline question matters. FanCash redeems at $1 of casino credit per $1 in the same review, though a second source gives $0.50, so check which applies before counting it.
The real advantage is flexibility. FanCash can go toward merchandise, bonus bets and Fanatics ONE status, so a sports fan who already shops at the store gets a currency with obvious uses. A pure casino player gets a modest rebate.

Our verdict on the rewards: better than points that expire, worse than a cash-back scheme with a high rate. It is a sweetener, not a reason to play more.
The welcome offer, with a conflict you should check
The casinos.com page describes a $10 cumulative cash wager within seven days of registering, followed by 1,000 bonus spins on 7's Fire Blitz Hotstepper 2, released as 100 spins a day for ten days, expiring at 11:59 p.m. ET each day. A banner on the same page says 500 spins. Those do not match, so read the offer screen at sign-up and trust that. Pennsylvania lists a $5 minimum deposit to qualify; the other three states do not publish a minimum.
Bonus spins that arrive in daily drips are easy to forget. If you will not log in for ten days in a row, the offer is worth less to you than the number suggests.
Is the app mature enough?
The standalone app has strong store ratings in reviewers' figures: about 4.8 on iOS from more than 30,000 ratings and about 4.6 on Android from more than 11,000. Support runs 24/7 live chat, plus email and a help centre.
The shortcomings are real. Reviewers report a smaller game library than BetMGM, about 550 titles in Michigan up to more than 1,700 in New Jersey, no live dealer games in West Virginia, and basic search with no filters for provider or volatility. Withdrawal timing is not published; the page says to check the cashier. One App Store reviewer wrote that they "never got anything more than $5", a reminder that a high rating is not a promise about your results.
One app, from September 2026
Fanatics announced a single app called Fanatics Sports & Casino, combining the sportsbook, the casino and its markets product, with FanCash rewarding every bet, trade or play. Covers dates the launch to 2 September 2026, and the company statement says existing players keep their balance and FanCash. A merged app means the old casino listing may be retired, so check the store before you download.

Money in and out
Deposit and withdrawal methods include ACH, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard and bank transfer, with a $10 minimum deposit and a $1 minimum withdrawal reported. The same page lists credit cards as not accepted while naming Visa and Mastercard, which is probably debit only, but confirm in the cashier.
Responsible play
Limits, time-outs and self-exclusion are required in all four states, and the helpline is 1-800-GAMBLER. Set a deposit limit first. Casino games carry a house edge, FanCash rebates do not offset it, and none of this is financial advice.
Verdict
Fanatics Casino is a competent, young product whose best feature is a reward currency with uses outside the casino. It is a good fit if you already shop and bet with Fanatics. If you want the biggest lobby or published payout times, BetMGM or FanDuel is the safer starting point.
